The J W Muir Group plc is a family owned business, headed by the Group Chairman and founder John Muir. Pulling the resources of the group companies together provides a range of skills and experience to undertake projects across the development spectrum.
The Muir Group was founded in 1974 by John Muir and has since grown and prospered, with companies whose skills and expertise complement each other.
Together, they make up a diverse portfolio, including property development, construction, private & social housing, timber frame solutions, leisure facilities and investment, all with a joint renowned mission to maintain and exceed the Group quality.
Each family company continually invests in training and research to keep the whole group at the forefront of developments and technology.
Today the Muir Group employ around 300 staff and has annual turnover above £95 million.
