Description: The works comprise part refurbishment of the existing Construction wing of the college together with a single storey extension to provide additional workshop accommodation. Structure comprises concrete raft slab, traditional timber frame, sedum / kalzip roof, services installations and external works. BREEAM ‘Excellent’ standard achieved, with many innovative features, including solar heating, waste water recycling, passive ventilation, a sedum ‘green’ roof and sustainable materials in the green timber frame and cladding. |
