Description: The works comprised the construction of a 11,000 sq mtr distribution warehouse, offices and car parking, with diversion of overhead and underground gas, water, communications and electric services. The most challenging element was in the expansion of the existing roundabout, which had to be maintained live with no road closures, particularly difficult on the main A71 trunk road. It also involved the grouting of abandoned mine workings, and the drainage outfall involved substantial works in the highway. |
